This is a nice place and the gentlemen at the front desk were helpful and pleasant. BUT, this is the first and only "four star" hotel that we have booked by priceline and were charged to get a room with two beds! We were informed as we checked in that our request for two beds was received but it would cost us an extra $50 for an "upgrade". An upgrade? Two full beds instead of one, are you kidding me. We have stayed at other four star places and did not get charged for the "upgrade". By the way, those other places - such as the Seaport Hotel have nicer rooms and truly are 4 star! Examples are a Bose music player/alarm, not a broken MP3 dock, a single cup coffee maker, versus no coffee maker, an alergy free room with air purifer, vs nothing, plus other examples if needed. Nice room overall, nice people but not 4 star. The room upgrade was certainly not a $50 a night upgrade!
