“Business trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012 via mobile

I stayed here in April for two nights for a business trip. I had never been to Boston so I was pretty excited to see the area. The hotel could not be in a better location. It's on Long Wharf, directly across from Quincy market and a quick walk to tons of great resturants.
The hotel itself is very large and busy. The food we had there wasnt bad but it was your typical hotel food. The room was nice and comfortable and the bathroom was fine.
Overall, When I go back to Boston I would look to stay here again. You cannot beat the location even though the hotel is priced accordingly.

Right on the water, this Marriott is a halo property and has the best customer service. Free Wi-Fi in the great room and its warm and friendly. The in-house restaurant is great and you can take a water taxi to and from the hotel, which is only $10.00. Much cheaper and cooler than taking a cab. The hotel has a Starbucks and has a nice park just outside it's door in case you want to go for a walk, jog, or walk your little pup like I did.

Cannot say enough about this property!

The Boston Marriott Long Wharf in Boston is not only a wonderful hotel but the location is great. You are right on the waterfront, the aquarium (lot of fun) is right outside the hotel, along with Legal Seafood and the Chart House (both delish, with the latter having amazing crabcakes). The in-house restaurant at the Marriott was also very good. I stopped by one afternoon for their happy hour specials and also one night after a show. I also seemed to have the same housekeeper, who was extremely friendly and thoughtful.

Across the street from the hotel is Faneuil Hall, a lot of fun, great for shoping, and Durgin Park (best turkey dinner). The best broiled seafood platter I have had is hands down Ye Olde Union Oyster House, along with the best corn bread! If you get a chance, definitely try to check out the Museum of Fine Arts. I was also very fortunate to be in town the same time Yo Yo Ma played with the Boston Symphony and it was definitely a very memorable evening.

Boston is a great town, clean, lot to do, amazing food, and very friendly!

On our second stay in Boston, we decided to stay on the waterfront and we weren't disappointed. The hotel rooms are nice enough for the price, Gym and pool area are well equipped for any tastes. The main draw though is the location, if you need to be right where the action is, for a whale watching cruise, restaurants or shops and bars, this is the place to stay without the sky high prices of some hotels on the wharf. You can pickup everything right outside the door. Very nice location..

This hotel is located right next to the Fanuel Hall (a bunch of restaurants inside a market) and North End (a bunch of great restaurants and bars) which is very convenient. Its clean and quiet, and the staff is respectful. The indoor pool and jacuzzi is small but great and clean. The gym is large and offers free headphones and fruit. The only thing I was not a fan of was the double beds in the rooms. Also, the low ceilings make the room seem very small, but its clean and cozy so that makes up for it.

I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations at the Marriott Long Wharf. The lobby is contemporary, and cool. The bar food was a miss- on several nights I tried various things, include the tuna tacos, which were pretty bad. But the friendly service made up for it. Great fitness center, pool and fitness center. One suggestion is to avoid 2nd floor rooms above street. Very noisy. A quickl phone call at 10pm and I was tucked away in new room within 10 minutes. Well managed, well run hotel.

We stayed here as a family while my husband was in Boston for business. The hotel location is great, it is by the water within walking distance to Faneuil Hall, the harbor, and the acquarium. There are a lot of restaurants just outside the hotel which was convenient. The hotel is beautiful on the inside and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't like was that we could hear the people in the next room, not sure if it was because the walls were too thin or if they were just extra loud. We were able to overlook that because of the hotel's excellent location.
