“Not worth a unique trip”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

If you are in the area, then sure stop by (ideally by walking as parking is expensive). On the other hand, if someone is a Naval buff then of course you are visiting. And the Constitution is fun to see.

“Very interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

From the USS Constituion to the destroyer Cassin Young, to the museum just yards away, the Navy Yard is a great place to spend half a day. Interesting to both kids and grown ups. Get there via Ferry from Long Wharf and you get great Boston views as well for a couple of bucks.

“Nice to walk around”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

Though we didn't pay to go on any of the ships, the Navy Yard is a nice area to walk around and get a view of not only Boston skyline, but these gigantic (old and new) ships that are at the docks. I didn't notice benches to sit on, but there are grassy areas around where you could sit and sip on coffee or enjoy a packed lunch. Beautiful area.
