“Amazing to stand on Battle Deck”

The rope rigging and cannon lines are absolutely incredible to see up close, and then when you realize that all of those cannons have seen action through so much history . . . fantastic site!!

“History Comes Alive..”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Take time to visit the USS Constitution and adjacent Museum. Board Old Ironsides and take the guided tour for some great stories and little known facts about this amazing tall sail ship which helped form the reputation of our American Navy way back in colonial times. Then cross the lot to the museum and gift shop. No admission required although they do appreciate donations on $5 per head. Small price especially these days and the value you get in return is really priceless. Great time for the family.

“Boy fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Went w/ 12-yr old son, and we both thought it was one of the coolest things we saw in Boston. Only spent about 30 min on the boat, but worth the trip. The sailors on board are US Navy personnel, and they were knowledgable and happy to talk in detail about the ship.

“Great add-on to the boat itself”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Well-done if a tad dated exhibits. It was enjoyable to read more about Constitution and her history. The kids' area was worthwhile and well planned. Great gift shop with lots of interesting choices.

“Bizarre”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

We did not get to visit the USS Constitution because we were not allowed to visit without photo ID, which we did not have. I am somewhat puzzled why a cursory glance at a photo ID is deemed sufficient and necessary in lieu of more sensible security precautions.
