You'll find locals walking their dogs, playing frisby, jogging, and enjoying the day. Very pretty greens and foliage, squirrels, birds, simple nature tucked away in the center of town.

A great place to relax for a couple of hours on a sunny afternoon. in the summer the Frog Pond is full of children paddling and splashing about. there is also a carousel which is great for adults and kids !
Was staying at the ritz carlton next door and loved getting a starbucks coffee and sitting in park watching people and soaking in Boston.
Boston Common really is the peoples park. It is a beautiful, safe, friendly park and wonderful for people watching.
Really busy on weekends but it is well worth the gorgeous walk through. Well worth a visit when you go to Boston city area. Very pleasant to sit and relax and enjoy the buskers and activities.
