“Watch the Tall Ships and catch a Blue Fish!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2014 NEW

Castle Island isn't really an island, but feels like one. It has an ancient, incredible fort you can tour certain days, magnificent views of the Boston Harbor, Sullivan's best lobster roll in the world for just $11.00...you order your food and take it to the picnic tables steps away, or eat picnic-style any where on the kid-friendly beach, on benches circling the island or in your car!

“Great Outdoor Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2014

This historic island is connected by a roadway and features walking, benches, bathrooms, and a playground for kids. Many families were having get picnics at the many tables available. In the parking lot is Sullivan's which features food, drinks, and ice cream. This is a great place to go on a nice day. You forget that you're in Boston.

“Interesting site”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2014

Interesting site with interesting views and history. Can be crowded on nice weekends. Harbor Islands are more interesting but harder to get to.
