Owner description: Relive the Kennedy era in this dynamic combination museum and library, where your visit starts with a short film and then leaves you on your own to explore a series of fascinating exhibits, including the Kennedy-Nixon debate, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the space program, 1960s campaign paraphernalia and displays about Jacqueline and other Kennedy family members. The striking, I.M. Pei-designed building overlooks the water and the Boston skyline.

“Worth the drive down”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

I really enjoyed this place. I think the actual structure is better than the four other libraries I have visited. It was very good and a good look into a great president

“Large and Interesting Museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

The museum is located on the scenic Boston Harbor. There is a pier outside the museum along with JFK's sailboat on display. There are several exhibits with several videos throughout. However, there are no interactive exhibits, and the tour is self-guided. It would be nice if there were audio to listen or tour guides to provide insight and answer questions.

“Best spot in Boston!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

You will love this museum whether you were a Kennedy fan or not. This museum is utterly fabulous. You will learn a lot and have a new respect for the Kennedys. My 10 and 12 year old boys said it was one of their favorite stops in Boston.

“Worth a stop”

On your way from Boston to the Cape, stop in for a couple of hours.

I loved reliving the first Nixon Kennedy debate.

“A step back in time to Camelot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

The setting of the museum is lovely - right next to water and the architecture of building is stunning. Admission price is also reasonable and guides seemed very knowledgeable. The museum focuses on JFK's personal life and his presidency - but this may perhaps seem skewed to his family life to some visitors, but probably lies in fact that he was only in office for 3 years. From JFK's university graduation to the end of his life, most aspects seem to covered - what stood out to me most was, during WWII, the heroic way he saved the lives of his remaining crew by swimming them each a few miles to shore after their boat was run down by a Japanese destroyer. I also loved the inclusions of the Jacqueline Kennedy tapes that detail her and JFK's time in the White House - they were incredible to listen to. It truly felt like stepping back into time...a must see if visiting the Boston area.
