We'd been to Beantown Pub the last time we were in Boston and looked forward to another visit. Despite being there on St Paddy's Day with the huge crowds, we were able to find a table at lunch time. Their food is excellent as well. We were in the smaller room on the side which was less chaotic than the main part of the bar, but again, it was St. Paddy's Day and we knew it would be busy. It was fun to hear an impromptu playing of bagpipe music by a group who had been in the parade. I must compliment the 2 waitresses who were working in the room we were in. They were absolutely incredible and worked so hard to keep everyone's beer glasses full and quickly serve food to those who ordered -- and really kept their sense of humor with those who had "embibed a bit too much!" We came back later in the evening for another beverage and the same 2 waitresses were still working at an exceptional pace to serve the customers. All in all, a lot of fun in a terrific Boston pub!
