We just returned from a wonderful weekend at a wonderful B&B in beautiful Asheville, N.C.
Innkeeper Greg Adkins was a gracious host, and a wonderful cook.
The 1904 inn was lovely. Elegant, but not stuffy and very cozy. We stayed in The Library room, which had very plush linens, soft pillows and lots of books in the built-in bookshelves. The clawfoot tub in the private bathroom was a nice touch, too. Greg provides good quality linens in the bathroom, as well as toiletries - with the Inn's logo on it. There are even bathrobes.
There is free wi-fi, and he has an extensive DVD collection - each room has a television with a DVD player.
Most afternoons/evenings, there were freshly baked cookies waiting for us in the dining room.
Mornings featured a three-course breakfast and good conversation with other guests.
We will definitely stay here again. It was close to downtown and the Biltmore Village - and a good place to unwind and relax.
