“Nice place, nice service”

1891 Cedar Crest Inn

Sep 22, 2007

My husband and I live in Asheville and chose this inn as a place to spend a couple nights after our wedding as we were not leaving town right away. We found everything to be very nice. Our room was lovely, the food was good and the hosts were very nice. We will definitely recommend it to friends coming to town for a visit.

“A Charming Place To Stay In Asheville!”

My husband & I stayed at the Cedar Crest Inn this past August and our stay could not have been any better.

The inn is absolutely beautiful; the decor is breathtaking and like taking a step back in time. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing and the location is wonderful.

The inn is close to the Biltmore House entrance, Biltmore Village and tthe downtown Asheville area. All are a short drive away, not within comfortable walking distance.

Rita, Bruce and their staff were so friendly and accomodating. They were all helpful in their suggestions on where to go for dinner, what events were going on around town etc.

The breakfasts were delightful; and it was quite a treat to dine on such a beautiful veranda in the mornings. IThe afternoon lemonade and cookies on the veranda was a charming & refreshing way to relax after a long day of touring the Biltmore House & Biltmore Village.

They pay close attention to detail for their guests and you feel very welcome and comfortable. We highly recommend the Cedar Crest Inn !

“Wonderful Way to Celebrate Our 40th Anniversary”

1891 Cedar Crest Inn

My wife and I were searching for a wonderful B&B near the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC. We had stayed at other B&B's in Ashville but this was our 40th wedding anniversary and we wanted something very special. We discovered the Cedar Crest on a search web site and were totally impressed with the beautiful Victorian style and well manicured grounds. We selected the Serenity Suite because of it's spacious accommodations and private veranda. The Inn was everything that we hope for and more! However, the most special features were Bruce, Rita, and Amber, the owners and staff. They made our anniversary dreamlike. Bruce helped us select a special, classy restaurant to have our anniversary dinner and he was right on the mark. He even made the reservations for us and Amber gave us a wake up call and mapped out the adventurous route to the restaurant’s location. There were other guests from all over the U.S. and even England when we were at the Cedar Crest. I am convinced that Bruce, Rita, Amber, and Britt could make even a marginal B&B seem great, but their warm loving care and the beautiful Serenity Suite in the Cedar Crest Inn were so much like a dream that my wife and I hated to have to leave.

“A Little Bit of Heaven”

1891 Cedar Crest Inn

Aug 26, 2007

This is a great place to call home for the days you are exploring the wonderful town of Asheville. The Inn is full of history and stories and the Innkeepers have thought of everything to make your stay a four star experience. The delicious breakfasts on the veranda overlooking the lovely gardens was a treat in and of itself. The personnel made sure that all of your questions were answered and your needs met! There is nothing like rocking in a chair, feeling the mountain breeze and just watching the sun set on the wrap around porch. It's a place you could return to time after time!

“Wonderful weekend at Cedar Crest”

Recently spent a glorious weekend at this charming B&B. We made our reservations online for the Garden room and were pleasantly surprised to find that a booking error landed us in the spacious Celebration Suite at no additional cost! Our Lucky Day!

Each morning we dined on the most wonderful breakfast, including homemade granola, muffins, breads, fruit salads, french toast, biscuits and gravy. They have an array of juices, teas, coffee, etc. to select. The afternoon homemade cookies and lemonade was a refreshing treat. To top off the evening was cheesecake, chocolate cake and coffee and tea!

Bruce and Rita are delightful and were eager to help with any questions we had. The house was clean and beautiful. The road noise was the only distraction at times while outside. If you are going to Asheville, NC, we highly recommend this B&B!
