“Perfect Valentine's Weekend Getaway!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2011

This was our first trip to Asheville and our first stay at a bed & breakfast. We are hooked! The Albemarle Inn is so beautiful and the staff is so friendly. We were so impressed and we are so ready to go back! Anyone who stays here is sure to love it... The ambrosia was AMAZING and my husband especially liked the warm apple cider each day. Enjoy the pictures!

My wife and I returned to the Albemarle Inn for another great stay and were not disappointed. The atmosphere of this place is amazing and it is just the right size. We were late in arriving, but Cathy made sure that we had everything we needed. Our room was even upgraded for free due to a water main break in the city. The bed was great, the room was quiet and we were able to relax. I was impressed by breakfast. I had requested a gluten-free breakfast due to my allergy and Cathy was happy to provide. I could tell she had researched her options and created the best gluten free breakfast that I have ever had. We will be back for another stay!

The Albermarle Inn was one of the finest stays we have had as a couple ever. The staff and accomodations were outstanding. It was an awesome experience and it made for the perfect romantic get away. Location was great and the staff assisted us with ALL our side excursions and any thing we needed during our stay. THANK YOU so much and we will be coming again soon!!
We have traveled around the world in our 13 years of marriage and this was a definate top 3 stay...next to Hawaii and the Bahamas.

Step back in time with a visit to the Albermarle. This grand old mansion coupled with an excellent attentive staff make for an experience that no franchised hotel can rival. From the period furnishings to the gourmet full course breakfasts, there is no comparison to the Albermarle!

We stayed at the Albemarle Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The Juliet Suite was great - comfortable, beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were magnificient. Of course, the staff was outstanding. The location was good, just a short distance from the Grove Park Inn. We would love to stay there again!

We enjoyed a winter getaway weekend with another couple. The owner and staff were very accommodating to any requests or considerations we asked for. Bathrooms are a little small but that is "to be expected" in an old-home-now-an-inn. Gourmet breakfasts, beautiful rooms and very helpful and friendly staff: we were certainly happy guests. To top it off, we had a break in the winter weather and had a nice sunny Saturday and Sunday!

We came to Asheville because the Grove Park Inn was having their annual swing weekend with the Tommy Dorsey band but didn't want to stay there. We stayed at the Albermarle Inn last year for our anniversary and were very impressed with the personal service and the sumptuous breakfasts. This year did not disappoint. As usual the service and our stay was superb in every way.The innkeeper and staff always do everything they can to make our stay comfortable. And I love the afternoon wine and refreshments..it's such a great way to meet other interesting people. In past visits we have stayed at other bed and breakfasts but because this place is so wonderful, we have decided to just keep coming back here.We love how they pamper us and recommend it highly.
