“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

Huge one bedroom apartment, very nicely furnished, and with a full kitchen and washer/dryer, and nice balcony too. Pool area was very nice as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue was lack of a restaurant on-site, but that didn't bother us, we just bought some breakfast stuff.

Next time we'll stay a week, not just 3 nights.

This apartment-type hotel is perfect for travelers who would rather have a large, spacious apartment-type experience rather than the traditional hotel-type environment. The property is tucked back from the road away from the traffic. It is within walking distance of the Biltmore Village (we did walk to dinner our first night.) It is an up-hill walk on the way back though, which we enjoyed but could pose a challenge to others. It is also a short-drive to downtown, just up Biltmore Avenue. Parking was free and plenty available. For pet-lovers, there were also pet-walking areas available. The pool was stand-alone on the other side of the parking lot. We didn't have a chance to use it but it looked enjoyable.

The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, spacious and well-equipped. We had a one-bedroom suite which had a separate living room, dining area, kitchen and bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a walk-in shower and separate soaking tub. It took a while for hot water to start flowing but once it did, all was good. The kitchen had a full-size fridge, oven, stove, etc. and would have been great for a longer stay.

We requested a fourth-floor apartment, so we didn't have significant issues with noise that others had reported. We heard a little bit when people were in the hallway, but other than that nothing bothered us. Would definitely recommend this property to others and would stay here again in the future if we make it back to Asheville.

Room Tip: Request a room on the top floor.

We just came back from the Residences at the Biltmore and had a wonderful time. The hotel was very clean and had everything you needed. I have never seen a pool or hot tub so clean before. It was in the middle of anything you wanted to do but was very quite and to itself. I could not say enough good things about the place and the staff and would recommend this to anyone.

Room Tip: I would take the top floor and have the view of the pool area.

This is an excellent well kept property. It is far enough off the main highway, you feel like you're in the mountains. It is conveniently located -close to Biltmore Village and only a couple of miles from downtown Asheville. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with everything you need for an overnight or an extended stay. The pool area is luxuriously relaxing. The staff was very helpful-they even allowed me to use one of their office computers when we decided to change our travel plans at the last minute.

We recently spent a couple of nights at The Residences at Biltmore. From now on, I don't think we'll stay anywhere else. It's close to everything, neat, clean and spacious. I really felt like we had our own place in Asheville. It was perfect! The staff were friendly and helpful, too. Can't say enough good things about the stay. Can't wait to go again.

We found ourselves so well in the residence at Biltmore that we wanted to extand our stay. Apart from the fact that our appartment was perfect for a family of four, we founded the swimming pool very nice especially at sun down and the team was really helping on all kind of services. We also found the bathroom really nice (Big and with all features). Also you are very close to both biltmore estate and Asheville center.

We have stayed at The Residences at Biltmore four times. A favorite while in Asheville. It is centrally located. Excellent suites, clean and well maintained. Love that the pool's deep end is 7 feet, pool is very clean and private especially during the week. Enjoyed having wine out by the fire pit in the evening. Each unit has a private balcony or patio. Staff are always very friendly and accommodating. We usually bring our little dog along. She loves it! There are pet walking trails and it is nice to be able to take evening walks in the surrounding residential neighbor neighborhood. If you have a pet, I highly recommend staying in a lower suite. The Biltmore Village is just a short walk down the hill. Down town Asheville is only five minutes away. So many great restaurants in Asheville. We love the 70's vibe of Asheville. The Residences at Biltmore are located very close to the Biltmore Estate. The Bohemian (try their Rosti) is just down the street within walking distance. Don't forget to visit Doc Cheys when your down town - arrive early line ups are long on the weekends. Every Friday's there is a drum circle in down town Asheville. Fun to watch peeps and get into the drum beat groove. Check out the French Broad Cafe for music, drinking chocolate and a fantastic desserts. Visit their new factory for samplings of handmade chocolates. Go to Smokey Bones or Luella's for barbeque. Love, love, Asheville, so much to do. Cycle on the Blue Ridge Parkway or through the Vanderbilt Forest or the arboretum. Last time we stayed at the residences we saw a mama bear and two cubs take down a bird feeder directly right across the street! I am very picky and I love it here! We will be back for sure!
