“Nice dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

We went at dinner time and did not have reservations so we had to wait. To our surprise the wait was only about 20 minutes for 2. We lucked into what we thought were great seats at the front "bar top". Our waitress was very nice. We enjoyed a dozen oysters on half shell for app. Then for entree I had seared tuna with asparagus, delish! My husband ordered the cioppino and it was good but overly smokey. This restaurant is open and loud, not a quiet, quaint little place. The live music was nice even though we could not see them from our seats.

“Next Time I would Give It a Miss”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

I love seafood. But the seafood here was nothing special. The raw oysters were bland. My main course, shrimp and grits, and both my companion's selections, was brought to our table while we were still eating our appetizers. After putting all the main course dishes down, the waitress said "oh would you like me to bring these back when you are finished with your appetizers?" Duh! So she did. When they were served the second time, they were lukewarm. It wasn't a busy night so I think some basic waitressing coaching might be in order. The shrimp and grits were ok but not great.

“YUM”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I am a New Englander transplanted to NC. I have been waiting for a place to give me that "NE Lobstah" home taste and finally found it here. Delicious. Fun, casual atmosphere. Upbeat but not loud. We really liked it here!

“Excellent Dining Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Wow, what a great dining experience our family had. This restaurant is a win all the way around. The staff is professional, friendly, and customer focused. Absolutely the best seafood we have had inland including fresh raw oysters, lobster, and a very good lobster bisque. A couple very unique sides of lobster/mac-n-cheese, brussel sprouts, or glazed carrots. Our server was very good and kept the evening moving but never rushing us. Atmosphere was very nice before and during the live band. Arrived at opening time on a Saturday and there was a line but we were seated quickly. A limited draft beer selection, maybe 7, but we able to order flights, try them all, and drink more of our favorites. We will not order the corn bread again and we didn't have room for dessert.
