“A Hidden Treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED this place. It was perfect. Very peaceful. Loved the pond...Loved the hot tub..Loved the fireplace. Our 6 year old daughter caught her first fish in their pond. It will be a memory we treaure forever!

The accomodations and amenities were awesome. They provided everything from coffee filters to laundry detergent. Plenty of blankets and they even had warm cozy robes for lounging around in.

We are already planning a summer and/or fall trip!

Room Tip: The cabins on Trout Trail are perfect and backup to a rambling creek with a fountain.

A friend recommended we stay at Willow Winds and our stay exceeded our expectations! My husband and I spent 6 nights in Gracie's Willow and enjoyed the roominess, cleanliness and the peace and quiet in the park like setting with hammocks, streams and fountains. The cabin was fully stocked with everything one could possibly need and then some. The hiking trail off the property was so convenient and we loved the DVD library in the evenings. The cabin was a short drive to the lively and free spirit downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. We would recommend to anyone and hope to return ourselves.

Our family had a great stay at Willow Winds. The cabin was well stocked and we enjoyed the gift basket and DVD library. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We grilled out and ate on our deck several nights. It was nice to be able to hike on the Mountain-to-Sea trail right at the top of the property. The grounds were beautiful and there were lots of family friendly activities, like fishing (my son caught one) You can easily get to Asheville activities during the day and come back and relax in the hammock or hot tub.

My family of 4 enjoyed a stay at Greg's Getaway cabin from 3/23/14-3/26/14.
Everything was perfect! The cabin is clean and comfortable and everything you need is there and well stocked. Just bring your suitcase and make a grocery run and you are good to go. The location is great for visiting all of the area attractions. The staff was very friendly and communicated well both before, during and after our stay.

We plan to return soon!

We had a great experience at Willow Winds. We stayed at Tony's Treasure and everything was neat and clean. We really thought the complimentary basket was a nice touch. We were traveling with our four month old baby and the cabin was much more homey and convenient than a hotel. The grounds were pretty and well maintained. We hope to come back during the warmer months to enjoy the grounds more. Would definately recommend Willow Winds to anyone.

If you're trying to save some money we stayed 3 nights and received the 3rd night for free because we booked before March 20th.

This was my fourth trip to Willow Winds! It's my very favorite place to stay in Asheville as you get the beauty of the mountains with the proximity of downtown Asheville. There's nothing like sipping morning coffee in the rocker out on the deck overlooking the stream--and stoking a fire in the evening before either a night out at one of Asheville's fantastic restaurants (we loved The Admiral and Curate) or cooking out on the electric grill in the cabin. The beds are very comfortable, and they've really thought of everything--a nice basket of treats to welcome you, their great DVD room, a stocked pond for those who'd like to fish, and trails! This trip was to celebrate my Mom's 82nd birthday and she said she couldnt' have imagined staying in a more perfect place. And, while you're in Asheville, make sure you spend time in the River Arts District!

We stayed in Andrews Attic. Private, modern amenities, wireless access, nicely furnished, wonderfully comfortable bed, minutes from downtown, nice trails nearby, Blue Ridge/Smoky Mountains within 45 min drive. We enjoyed a variety of restaurants within 5-6 miles of our cabin. Enjoyed staying in with fireplace going.

Room Tip: Peruse cabins via online viewing before choosing.
