“Great Value for the Cost”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

The breakfast and evening meal made this stay and the cost of the room a great value. The facility and its' employees were all first rate, and we enjoyed the stay. The location is perfect and the feature of offering complimentary wine and beer on four week nights was a real treat. Courtesy van delivery and pickup from local sites was also a great plus.

We 3 ladies stayed here late Aug '13 for 3 nights on a girls trip.
Quite nice self-serve breakfast buffet with a very nice assortment, and also ''a no charge'' self-serve reception buffet on selected weeknights. A nice chilled CA wine was available, along with beer, 4 coffees and other selections.
Very comfortable, quite spacious room, with very nice finishes, granite, and a full size refrigerator we filled with water bottles for hot days out, and wine from wine tasting at The Biltmore's (house) winery.
Room décor is very nice, wide countertops in Kitchen and Bath, so 2 of us could easy blow dry hair and apply make up while the other one was showering behind a closed door.
Good storage in closet, kitchen cabinets, and comfortable sitting in living area/with sofa bed.
I used the sofa bed, which was comfortable alone and sleeping in the middle. I know I wouldn't have wanted to share it.
Staff members were smiling, all quite pleasant, and even gave us a ride to/from visitor's center to catch the Red Trolley tour, which was well worthwhile. They even called us mid-day as asked, to let us know when an Express Mail came in for one of us.. One of them was also very helpful in restaurant recommendations, as there are 4? with-in easy walking distance.
This was the nicest of the 3 hotels we stayed in on this trip...
We did not use the pool or exercise room, but they looked nice.
WE WOULD STAY ALL HERE AGAIN...!!!

Room Tip: We were not at all bothered by noise, but you can call the day before, asking for a certain/quiet lo...

This hotel was great! The staff was very helpful, great amenities, safe/clean environment. It was in a good location as well...within minutes from downtown, restaurants, the mall, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We stayed at the Homewood suites with 2 teenagers. We stayed in the suites, which turned out to be a bit small for our family. It turns out that the hotel does not have any cots (First time I heard of a hotel not having cots !!??). The hotel was quiet at night except for our room - The AC unit, located next to the sleeper sofa, was very noisy. The hotel has a nice pool (more kid sized, not really lap sized), and a good fitness center). The breakfast in the morning is quite nice, and there is a free finger food and drink reception on weeknights that is also nice. The location is close to downtown, but not really walkable (you need to cut through a fairly long tunnel with a narrow sidewalk). The hotel has a free shuttle within 5 miles, and we utilized this going to downtown. The shuttle service was nice and dependable. The hotel is also located near other the interstate, so it is easy to get to and from other sights. I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind spending extra money on comforts..

We stayed here in May for three nights, while our primary purpose was to visit the Biltmore House. It was a package through Bilmore.com. When we return to Biltmore, we will definitely stay here again. The room was very nice and clean, the staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was decent. The plumbing in this hotel is noisy for sure, so you will hear it when other guests run water. The first time it really startled me because it was pretty loud. That's really the only complaint I have at all. They offer a shuttle if you ask, will take you downtown or other places to eat and come pick you up at no charge. We were on the 5th floor I think, on the back side of the hotel. Overall a very good experience! Convenient to Biltmore and downtown both.

good location, good complimentary breakfast; quiet room. Only negatives used- fitness facility is very small and minimal equipment and patio is almost non-existent. Desk staff very helpful - got late checkout by an hour to make it a bit easier. Breakfasts were pretty good, too.
