Description: Rhubarb, at the heart of Asheville on Pack Square, is a comfortable place for friends, families and strangers to gather and share in the magical recipe of food and drink and the table. The menu is inspired by seasonal, local ingredients and pays homage to the bounty of regional and American cooking. A wood-fired oven and grill complement the rustic creations. Rhubarb serves lunch, dinner, brunch and Sunday Supper, a communal dining experience served family style that reflects the bounty of the local weekend markets and the products of the guest farmer.

“Rhubarb has The Right Stuff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2013 via mobile

A welcome addition to an already full restaurant scene in Asheville, it takes something special to stand out. Rhubarb is inviting as soon as you walk in the door and makes you want to stay. Nice interesting decor and warm feeling at the bar and eating area. Food was yummy, especially my fish! Everyone working here is friendly and make for a nice experience. Waiter was great and helpful. All round good time, will be back.

“Go Rhubarb Go!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

Welcome Chef John Fleer!! Inspired cuisine, farm-to-table fresh, wonderful textures and flavors as well as incredible ingredient pairings. The space is Asheville chic, with a rustic yet welcoming informal ambiance. The open kitchen is a hoot to watch!! This is a very welcome addition to foodie paradise. Wonderful service tops off the experience. Run.... Don't walk!!

“Excellent Dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

We had an excellent group dinner! The service was fantastic, and the decor and atmosphere was also great. The menu had a great selection and everyone enjoyed their food. There were a few tiny things that made us think the kinks hadn't been worked out yet (one friend's lamb was a little cold, but she said it was so good she couldn't be upset) but the big picture was really great!

“Very happy to welcome Rhubarb to Asheville”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2013

At a recent Blind Pig charity dinner we met the Rhubarb Chef, John Fleer who encouraged to dine at the newest restaurant in Asheville. We reserved the Chefs Table and truly enjoyed the experience. Our group tried the lobster corn dogs, Kale chips, liver page, Brussels sprouts, oysters. And lamp appetizers. They were all delicious. My least favorite was the oyster only because I'm not a fan bread stuffing with my oysters. The most unusual yet one of my favorites was the Brussels sprouts roasted like potato chips

Of the salad the roasted romaine salad was everyone's favorite.

The entrees were all delicious but the winner was the Goat cheese gnudi -WoW!!! The lamb steak, chicken and pork osso buco are all worthy of high ratings as well.

We will definitely be back on a regular basis. On top of all the excellent food was the very attentive and super friendly staff.

“Good food in a stylish environment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2013

Great brunch spot too. All items on the menu are inventive and tasty. Great combination of flavors and fun variations of basic menu items, such as turkey and grilled cheese sandwiches.
The decor is stylish and the all the reclaimed wood makes it cozy and comfortable.
