“Good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013 via mobile

We love this place! Food is good but potion sizes have changed without a price change. The Chicken parm use to include two pieces of chicken, it was great beacause you had lunch for the next day, now only comes with one piece of chicken. Bread is the best in town.

“great food, nice atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

This is a favorite. Love the eggplant rollatini, and scrumptious pizza. Gets crowded - but service is always good. Take out pizza best in area. Good house salad. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

“Sauce too sweet to be "Italian"”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

Service excellent, sesame rolls very good. Portions average size, skimpy on ingredients. Baked dishes heavy on a very sweet sauce. Our feeling is that Italian food should have some zesty flavor. Cheese on baked dishes was minimal. Prices reasonable but not the best place for Italian in Asheville.

“Dog Gone Great Italian!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2012

Looking for a place for lunch on south end of Herndersonville Rd, we passed this little place. Hubby check out Tripadivsors reviews, all sounded promising. It was Great!! This seemed to be a local Mom & Pop favorite- not touristy. Together we had stuffed shells, 2 gigantic meatballs and a pizza. They were all delicious- hubby liked the sweet red sauce. Left over shells and pizza were yummy next morining for breakfast. Thanks Iannucci's!!!

“Hot Spot”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

We ate at Iannucci's last night. We could tell when we walked into the restaurant that it was very warm. After being seated we asked if there was a cooler spot in the restaurant. We were told it was the same throughout and that it is always warm. The waitstaff had perspiration on their faces. I really felt sorry for the staff having to work in such hot conditions in mid-July. Customers all around us were commenting on how warm it was. The food was good but it is not worth sitting in a sauna to enjoy a good meal. It was a relief to go outside to get air!
