“Pricy, but worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Get your Asheville sushi fix here. Wasabi does everything well. They have the freshest sushi and the best tasting hibachi I've had in Asheville. The lunch menu is a good value and much more reasonable. The sushi prices are steep, but they are worth it. The fish is extremely fresh and so you're essentially paying the price difference. The food is standard Sushi/Japanese fare.

“good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

Had a good meal here. Sushi was good as was the sashimi. We tried the jalapeno bomb and it was really yummy. Service was good.

“Great sushi- great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

This is my favorite sushi restaurant bar none. Service is great and very helpful if you have questions. If you like oysters, try the volcano roll. Food is served in an appealing way, with plenty of food to eat. Also love the lunch boxes. Must try if you're in Asheville, NC>

“Absolutely the Best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

If you love sushi, this is the place in downtown Asheville. I recently had tuna and salmon sashimi and the Godzilla Roll...amazing!

“Exquisite meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

The Chilean sea bass, the sushi-sashimi plate, and the Godzilla roll were highlights of our meal. We began with the Jalapeño Bomb--so spicy, with tuna and special mayo--and totally worth it. Nice service.

Families with babies flocked the place, so squeals abounded, but Wasabi can't control the modern-day parent who will spend on sushi, but not on babysitting, and thinks the world is their living room.
