“Birthday dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant has friendly service, clean and quality ingredients. The falafel appt and salads were wonderful. The entrees were cold when delivered to the table.....not so good. Don't know if they forgot us (4) or what, the place wasn't busy but we were in the back room. If I ever go again I would order the veggie platter and sit in the front dining area.

“Yum!”

Was very good. We both ordered chicken gyros. Will definitely go back! Quiet and clean place. Right downtown. The waitresses were nice and offered suggestions.

Really enjoyed our meal. Hummus was superb as was the beet salad. Loved the veggies. Would highly recommend.

“Best Baba Ganoush!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

I'm not sorry that Tupelo Honey had a 1 1/2 hour wait, for right across the street we found Jerusalem Garden Cafe. We had no wait and enjoyed an incredible meal. The spinach pie appetizer was delicious and I could have licked the plate that my vegetarian platter came on--it was just that good (wish I could have taken home a quart of the baba ganoush!). My husband had the burger, which was a combination of lamb and beef topped with feta cheese, tzatziki, lettuce, and tomato. He is still raving about it. Our friends enjoyed a chicken wrap and moussaka that looked lovely. We will definitely be returning on our next trip!
