“So many good things about this place..”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

I think it rates a 9 out of ten. Someone with imagination has transformed this place into a wonderful restaurant and bar. Biltmore Street continues to move up. My son took my wife and me here and small children were along.
The service was just right. The emphasis of course (wicked weed) is on hops in the beer and even the pale ale is "hoppy" but they tell you. My burger was well done when ordered medium. I think most of the prices are fair but a few are surprising such as the fish and chips. They became very busy after we arrived and parking might be a problem with meters up the street.
I hope to return sometime soon and maybe the 9/10 will be a 10/10 or 5/5. I hope they continue to do well.

“Nice new brewery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Long wait to get a table on Saturday night, even in January. But, this is a good place to wait. You can go to the bar downstairs & enjoy a brew. Food was good, & was reasonably priced.

“A Must For Every Asheville Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

We just discovered Wicked Weed on this trip and were BLOWN AWAY!! Upstairs is a large restaurant and bar with tons of seating. Downstairs, there is a tasting room that offers a huge selection of beers and tasting flights. You can eat up or downstairs. It was fairly warm the day we were there, so they had the doors open to the outdoor patio and it was such a neat atmosphere. The beers were among the best we have ever had. We sampled 6 of around 25 choices. We both ordered the black bean burger with pimento cheese and crispy okra. Unique combinations of flavors, but was amazing!! You can't miss Wicked Weed if you are anywhere near Asheville and you love beer.

“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

Great beers, friendly people and good food.
Three visits in and no disappointments. The beer is unbelievable, with something for everyone among the 16 -18 revolving taps. The food is great with a nice variety of dishes. This is a winner. Don't come if you are looking for a quiet romantic evening....this is a high energy, fun place.

“Good food, service and excellent beer.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

A new and excellent addition to Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville is this gem of a Brewery. Myself, my wife and 4 yr old son visited on a Sunday afternoon. I had the burger & fries, a beer flight and the wife had a veggie burger. They brought us chips and pretzels. Service was good. It is a really lovely place. Very clean and open and bright. There is also a downstairs bar area with lots of space. We will return!
