“Beautiful Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

I visited the Biltmore Estate with my mother in law and sister in law. It is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. The room at the inn was very beautiful and comfortable with nice toiletries. We got a package that included unlimited visits to the estate, parking, shuttle to/ from the estate and breakfast. The breakfast was lovely with anything a person could want and was very enjoyable. The inn is surrounded by beautiful mountain views, walking trails, etc. a beautiful place for a visit.

we had a wonderful time at the Biltmore. The estate is beautiful, the staff excellent.
We had a problem when we checked in as our car acted up. The hotel manager was extremely helpful. He sent a bottle of wine to our room to compensate for our problem which was in no way his or the hotel's fault.
that was above and beyond the call of duty.

Room Tip: hard to say if there is a bad room. our experience was top notch.

We chose to stay at the Inn during our recent 2 day visit to Biltmore Estate. Although more expensive than alternative lodging off the estate, there is no comparison for convenience and class. Starting with check in, valets, concierge and doormen, we felt welcomed and pampered but not in a pretentious way. The room was beautifully decorated and well prepared; The restaurants were first class and transportation was included to all places on the grounds.

My husband and I stayed here with our two boys for a few nights while visiting the estate. Grounds and views are beautiful, and the pool is pretty and serene. The inn is quiet and the rooms are nice and clean. Baths are well appointed. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Definitely more of an older adult crowd while we were there. My boys loved the mountain biking. I would recommend, especially for couples.

Room Tip: Choose a mountain view room if you can.

For a short trip to the Biltmore, this is the place to stay. Easy access to all areas of the Biltmore estate. We arrived Sunday afternoon, took the shuttle to Antler Hill Village for lunch then the shuttle again to the main house where we explored the gardens. Monday we were back at the house to tour the inside. I recommend the B&B package which included valet parking, breakfast at the Inn and admission to the house on BOTH days we were on the property. I would have enjoyed a spa with more amenities (steam, sauna, etc).

Room Tip: We didn't pay extra for a room with 'a view' but we were hardly in the room. And the vie...

The title probably says it all, but I will elaborate. We were married in late July and stayed a couple of nights at the Inn as part of the wedding weekend. Everyone who worked there was first class. They allowed us to check in early which provided me a place to relax before rehearsal and there were no extra charges or hassels (they did not know at first it was our wedding, so this was not some special accomodation, I felt all guests are treated this nicely). Next, we took amazing photographs on the back lawn with the property and mountains in the background and everyone at the hotel catered to our small requests (we try not to ask for too much in general). Following the wedding, we returned to the room to a very nice set up with champagne and a note. Even though this was a special occasion, I got the impression the staff is very responsive to their guests. The room was very clean, a good size, and the bathrooms were relatively large and very clean. The views are hard to top as well. I will definitely be returning, probably on an Anniversary.

We arrived early one morning and used the valet to take our car and keep our luggage. We had the bed and breakfast package so we were able to visit the house, gardens, and property for our entire stay. That was very nice.
We spent the day at the mansion and on the grounds. Arrived back at the Inn and were greeted warmly. I was surprised that our luggage had not been placed in our room but it was no big deal. We had a terrace view room. Unfortunately it was extremely moldy smelling. We went back up to the front desk and were treated very kindly. The wonderful woman there (sorry I didn't get a name) was very accommodating and immediately found us a different room. She went with us to check it out. It was much better.
The breakfast each morning was delicious. We did the buffet but this is not cafeteria buffet at all. Everything was tasty and we did have a server waiting on us for drinks and anything else we might want.
The inn is very convenient for everything you want to do on the property. They have a shuttle with kind and knowledgeable drivers. It is very quiet and peaceful on the grounds and at the inn. We ate on the patio one night, ordering from the Library menu. It was a great view and the food was good.
All in all, it was very nice. It was a little out of our budget so we probably would not stay again but we would definitely recommend it to friends. Already have in fact.
