Texas Roadhouse really knows steak. When you enter you can choose your steak from a glass case housing the various cuts of beef if you choose. I just order from the menu.
When seated you have a bucket with peanuts at your table. The server will ask if this is your first visit. If so, they will bring a plate with a sample of some of their side dishes. Large rolls are provided for munbchinbg while your order is being cooked. You can always get more.
I have always found my steak to be cooked just the way I requested. The sides are flavorful. And the desserts (if you have room) are large and absolutely wonderful. I never left feeling hungry at all.
Also there is entertainment. The servers periodically get together and perform line dances. Those are often silly but thoroughly entertaining.
Do not rush your meal at Texas Roadhouse. It is meant to be savored.
