I have eaten at Curate multiple times and I am continuously blown away by Katie Button's creations. The potatoes bravas are a staple dish (I've had the same dish at other well known tapas bars in NYC and Las Vegas and Curate's blows them away). My husband and I always try at least one new dish while we are there, which can be hard because everything we try is so good that we want it every time we go!
The champagne sangria is irresistible for me, a little too sweet for my husband's taste. He prefers the drier red sangria.
You absolutely need reservations during peak hours, as it is a small setting and they are always packed. However, the seating at the bar is open and it is quite fun to watch the kitchen staff work their magic, if you can get a seat. Sometimes they even mix up a cocktail to pass around at the bar!
