Wife and I vacationed in Asheville and went here on a Friday afternoon for lunch after we decided not to wait 45 minutes to be seated at the nearby Tupelo's. We were surprised the place was DEAD after seeing Tupelo's packed to the gills, and I agree with the other reviewer this should have been a red flag, but we welcomed the quiet, non-crowded environment. But our food was pretty bland. Frozen, reheated fries, stale tortilla chips and mediocre salsa. I got hard shell beef tacos, and they were just ok. Dripping with grease though. My wife got a veggie burger and she said it tasted like a frozen veggie pattie that was just heated up. The food just felt like bad frozen food reheated. We asked for mustard and they brought out a small container that had a date written on it that was 3 weeks old. Not sure what that's about! We ended up barley eating a thing and we just decided to get our bill and go hungry. Meh.
