Owner description: The largest & oldest running ghost tour in Asheville! Designed by Joshua P. Warren, author of HAUNTED ASHEVILLE, we offer five different paranormal tours, & we are the ONLY tour that takes you inside the "Asheville Mystery Museum" in the basement of the Masonic Lodge! On your tour, we use digital tabs and lasers to explore Asheville's dark history, the Brown Mountain Lights, and our region's most ominous spooks and specters. See why we've always been #1!

“Spectacular Historical and Hauntings Walking Tour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014 via mobile

Even though I have lived in the area all my life, I had no idea of the history detailed in the tour. My children (ages 6, 12 & 15) and I were intrigued by our guide Brian's presentation of hauntings and of incredible happenings in the past.
As we walked, Brian painted several events that occurred in the early 1900's and it was in such a manner that you felt as if you were carried back in time visualizing the stories step by step.
At the end of the walk, Brian offered to let us see the century old Masonic temple and Joshua's museum.
I recommend the tour to everyone. Just be sure to wear comfortable shoes for a nice long walk.

“LaZoom Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014

If you go to Asheville around Halloween, you have to take this tour. These guys and girls are hysterical! You won't believe what they come up with. It is a fun tour and definitely worth the time! You ride through Asheville on this BIG purple bus and are told the history of Asheville in a most unusual way

“So so”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

Took the tour with Joshua Warren on Oct 27th, hoping for a bit of Halloween spirit; it was a bit of a letdown.

Josua was entertaining enough, but the tour was more of a history tour- "In 1905 someone was shot here". "In 1870 someone was shot over there", etc. etc...

The "Museum" at the end seemed to be a small collection of Joshua's things that he thought was interesting; was housed in the basement of the Masonic Temple where it must have been 90+ degrees- we could only stand a few minutes, and left.

Maybe a decent value at $10, but not at the $20 they charge.

I always share a ghost story to compliment each historical tale. Everyone else in the large group emailed rave reviews.

“Halloween With Haunted Asheville And Joshua P. Warren”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Got to do the trolley tours this year, 2 year ago we did the walking tour. Was 90 mins of delightful fun. Joshua is a talented presenter and knows how to engage everyone young and old. We all had a blast. Our kids were delighted. We also got to go into the museum this year and see Carville the haunted alien statue, the thing is really is creepy. Joshua took time to answer all the kids questions and let them play with equipment in the lab. If that was not enough he offered us to see the masonic lodge. That was over the top amazing. Thank you for going the extra mile for all of us on this tour. Have said this before and will say it again, Joshua brings the whole coasttocoastam radio experience to life. This is living out the fun of late night paranormal radio - you can see, hear, smell and touch the experience. Was Really Lots Of Fun!

“Could have been better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

The regular tour guide, Joshua P. Warren, had just led the 7:00 tour, so we ended up with someone else on the 9:00 slot. The tour guide, I can't remember his name, was barely audible over the screeching of a loose belt on the bus. When he was audible, he stammered along with his commentary almost like he was trying to remember what he was supposed to be telling us. From time to time the bus driver would grab the mike and share interesting tidbits- he was the better guide.
The belt that was loose in the bus started to smell like burned rubber and I was glad we were sitting on the front of the bus! We probably would have enjoyed the walking tour more, because this was not worth $20.
