“3 Day Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

We booked a three night stay while when we were travelling to Asheville.
Sight unseen we booked at Brookstone because of the Biltmore Package included.
We were not at all disappointed. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The place is clean and well appointed.
The location is fantastic. Minutes from Biltmore and Black Mountain.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front side of the hotel are very quiet

The rooms were emaculate... Unlike most hotels where they have 1 or 2 people cleaning the whole hotel, brookstone had 1 person per floor plus 1. This means they could really take their time to clean. The pool was extremely clean! We had just come from a more pricy hotel in Boone NC where the pool was dirty, Brookstone has very high standards for cleanliness!
Customer service is extremely pleasant! Each and everyone of the hotel attendants made us feel very welcome and like we were at home. If you are staying at brookstone you will feel like a king!
The location is literally 1 mile to the Biltmore and 2 miles or so to downtown. It's also right off the highway, however you can not hear the highway inside the hotel.
Price? Fantastic deal! The price is similar to what you'd pay for a cheap MOTEL but its a very nice hotel!
The breakfast was as good as a hotel with no formal kitchen can do.

We will stay here again!

We made reservations on the website- very easy to do and fast.
Apon getting there it seemed that the hotel was a little aways from stuff but we had no problem with that.
We had a petite queen. Some say it has small rooms but I didnt notice that this was small. It was big enough for the two of us! It was very clean room.
The pool was indoors and heated to a great temp. The hot tub was a little too hot for me but to my husband was perfect.
The hot breakfast was delish!
The best was the price of the hotel it was great. If we are ever in the area again we will stay here again and again!!

Pros- seems like the hotel is not near anything upon arriving, but biltmore village is 3 minutes straight down the road with many restaurants and shopping. Downtown is a 5 minute drive. Overall hotel is clean. Hot breakfast ok. Eggs and sausage. Cereals etc. rooms have microwave and refrigerator. Second time staying. King room this time a bit small and 10.00 more. Would stay in the double queen next time even though I'm traveling by myself.

Cons - 1 elevator is slow

The first night into Ashville, three of us, all guys, checked in and went to the room to find two queen beds. I love my Buds but not enough to sleep with! I called the desk and they said they were full up, but the manager came to our room in a few minutes and gave us a room with a sofa sleeper for no extra charge. She was able to move a few people around who were just checking in. Super service, clean and comfy beds. We needed a place for one night at the end of our stay in NC and couldn't find anything available near downtown, so we called Brookstone back and they hooked us up with the same room for the same price!!

Room Tip: If you need an extra bed, ask for the room with the sofa sleeper, it's cheaper...

We stayed the night on our way to Myrtle Beach. This hotel is very clean and looks new. The front desk staff were friendly coming and going. The parking is close to the building with some spaces covered. The WiFi signal was strong and easy to connect. The rooms are large with wide bathroom and closet doors. The the shower they have two wall mounted dispenser for shampoo and Dial body soap. Breakfast was typical with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, breads, yogurt, juices, and coffee. The only con if I had to say is the fitted sheets on the beds are pilling and makes for a not so soft sleep against bare skin. Located directly off I-40 and one exit from the Biltmore Estate.

When checking out Kayak for the first time, it looked as though this hotel was closest to the Biltmore Estate. Not at all! It's a drive from anyplace and in an industrial park type area, but despite that it was a nice place. Just a strange location for a hotel. Attractive: looks lodge-like in the lobby, but NOT in the rooms, very clean and comfortable: the room was very nice and had the amenities of a fridge/micro and big TV. I'd prefer a loud fan in the bathroom, though. We had 2 queens and still a lot of room to move around. The breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, waffles and more. The price was a little high, but pretty much worth it. We'd had a problem and were unable to get on our flight, so we had to forfeit the price of one night. I don't know if that was because we'd booked through Kayak instead of directly with the hotel. Oh well. I'd just have preferred a better location. There was a Sleep Inn and a Comfort Inn which would have been more convenient. There were no restaurants nearby. We found Asheville to be a confusing town to get around.

Room Tip: No good choice, rooms either face the road or the parking lot and business right behind the hotel. W...
