“Great Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

The first night into Ashville, three of us, all guys, checked in and went to the room to find two queen beds. I love my Buds but not enough to sleep with! I called the desk and they said they were full up, but the manager came to our room in a few minutes and gave us a room with a sofa sleeper for no extra charge. She was able to move a few people around who were just checking in. Super service, clean and comfy beds. We needed a place for one night at the end of our stay in NC and couldn't find anything available near downtown, so we called Brookstone back and they hooked us up with the same room for the same price!!

Room Tip: If you need an extra bed, ask for the room with the sofa sleeper, it's cheaper...

It was great to accommodate you and adding the extra bed at no extra charge was our pleasure. Come stay with us again if you get the chance.

We stayed the night on our way to Myrtle Beach. This hotel is very clean and looks new. The front desk staff were friendly coming and going. The parking is close to the building with some spaces covered. The WiFi signal was strong and easy to connect. The rooms are large with wide bathroom and closet doors. The the shower they have two wall mounted dispenser for shampoo and Dial body soap. Breakfast was typical with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, breads, yogurt, juices, and coffee. The only con if I had to say is the fitted sheets on the beds are pilling and makes for a not so soft sleep against bare skin. Located directly off I-40 and one exit from the Biltmore Estate.

When checking out Kayak for the first time, it looked as though this hotel was closest to the Biltmore Estate. Not at all! It's a drive from anyplace and in an industrial park type area, but despite that it was a nice place. Just a strange location for a hotel. Attractive: looks lodge-like in the lobby, but NOT in the rooms, very clean and comfortable: the room was very nice and had the amenities of a fridge/micro and big TV. I'd prefer a loud fan in the bathroom, though. We had 2 queens and still a lot of room to move around. The breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, waffles and more. The price was a little high, but pretty much worth it. We'd had a problem and were unable to get on our flight, so we had to forfeit the price of one night. I don't know if that was because we'd booked through Kayak instead of directly with the hotel. Oh well. I'd just have preferred a better location. There was a Sleep Inn and a Comfort Inn which would have been more convenient. There were no restaurants nearby. We found Asheville to be a confusing town to get around.

Room Tip: No good choice, rooms either face the road or the parking lot and business right behind the hotel. W...

We have stayed at the Brookstone several times in the past 3 years. It's clean, comfortable & the location is perfect for visiting my daughter. Breakfast is average for a hotel. Staf is very friendly.

The Brookstone Lodge is a nice hotel offering nice amenities. The property is one building and parking is outdoors. It is located close to the 25A and 40 interchange so it is convenient for getting around the Asheville area but is not in the downtown area.
My room was very nice with two queen beds, a desk, dresser, flat screen TV, microwave, small refrigerator and coffee pot. All were clean and in nice condition. The bathroom was large and can accommodate a wheelchair if needed. It was nicely finished with granite counter and tub surround.
The property has an indoor pool and a small gym. A free breakfast was included. The dining area is very small though and it gets quite congested in the mornings.
Overall a very nice place to stay if you are in the Asheville area.

I called ahead with reservations and when we arrived around 4 p.m. at Asheville NC everything was taken care of. Our room was EXTREMELY clean (I am a neat freak). And our beds were so comfortable.
The staff at this hotel was AWESOME!!! Never in my whole life have I seen as many staff cleaning rooms, the halls, the outside - again this place is spotless. The staff were so friendly, so energetic and very willing to go out of their way for us.
Fun Depot was just across the street from Brookstone - check in as early as you can and take the kids (even grown kids) - you will all have a BLAST!!!

Room Tip: call ahead, the sooner, the better, these rooms fill up SO FAST. This Lodge is right off Hwy 40, so...

After a weekend trip to explore Asheville our stay at Brookstone lodge was a great value. It was convenient to Biltmore the WNC and had a Fun Depot amusement park behind it. It was close to other attractions as well. Our only issue was the mold on the caulk in the bathroom. It was the only item that we did not like about the lodge. Otherwise the staff was great. The pool was indoors and and small. Perfect in our opinion. The breakfast offered was more than the usual bagels and Danish rolls. Plenty of other options to eat for breakfast cereal yogurt waffles scrambled eggs sausage and 4 types of juices. Located just off I 40 a perfect stop off place to stay even if you do not intend to go into Asheville.
