“Asheville School connection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Asheville School alumni, parents, and visitors, should stay at the Sweet Biscuit Inn. We travelled to Asheville for the Asheville School vs Christ School football game. It had been 15 years since our last visit, and staying at the Sweet Biscuit immediately brought back the friendly and unique feel of Asheville. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, it is an easy drive to downtown, the Biltmore House, or to school. Christian and Claudia make you feel welcome immediately. Having breakfast with other guests, we heard about where and what they were going to do, and where they enjoyed eating. Good information for those of us who do not live in Asheville. Christian also has a list of their favorites places to visit and eat. We will be back; hopefully soon.

The location in a quiet neighborhood is ideal for visiting all areas of Asheville. Only 5 minutes to downtown and maybe 10 minutes to the Biltmore Estate. Christian and Claudia were fantastic hosts who made us feel completely at home (they even bought a second high chair for our son because another child was using their other one). Breakfast was delicious both mornings we stayed. We look forward to our next visit!

The owners of this quaint inn made this trip extra special. In addition to helping us find great local places to go they served us a wonderful breakfast in a home style environment. The atmosphere was so friendly, my wife and I can't wait to get back and spend time with Christian and Claudia again. We have stayed at many places, but the Sweet Biscuit has that extra hospitality that sets it apart. The house is not only beautiful and immaculate, but also within minutes of everything you want to see.

We really enjoyed a couple of nights here. The Inn is extremely clean and furnishings are interesting. The breakfast is very good and there is easy access to the Blue Ridge Pkwy., Biltmore , and downtown Asheville. The owners are very friendly and engaging. The price is reasonable and the neighborhood was very nice. We would definitely return for another stay!!!

My wife and I stayed with our 5 year old daughter for 5 days and the place was great. The hotel is extremely clean - my wife suffers from severe asthma and it is always a challenge for us to travel anywhere but we had no issue here. No need for the medicine we always bring along. Christian and Claudia are super friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast is superb – different every day as well. Our daughter loved the house, playground and outside area– several days she asked to get back to the “hotel”. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Thank you for the five-star recommendation! We enjoyed the opportunity to host you and your extended family, and are pleased that you had such a wonderful stay.

As a business that considers its guests to be it's top priority, we were especially pleased to hear that your wife was able to get along smoothly. We understand how challenging a medical condition like asthma can be, and will do whatever necessary to ensure a comfortable, stress-free stay. We are proud that we were abe to achieve that goal without even knowing up-front about your wife's allergy, and we appreciate you sharing this with others on TripAdvisor!

We hope to welcome you back the next time you are visiting Asheville! Thanks again for your kind words.

Best wishes,

My husband booked the Sweet Biscuit Inn for my 32nd birthday. I am very particular in accommodation, having been a hotelier for the last 8 years, and I have always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast. Well this one did not disappoint. We were greeted upon our arrival by Christian, and shown to our room. We traveled with our 2 month old, and they were very welcoming towards him, along with setting up a pack in play for his sleeping arrangements. The room we stayed in was very cozy ( we had a little issue with the heat upon arrival, but that was quickly solved). Our night was beautiful! The morning breakfast was great! The first morning we enjoyed freshly prepared crepes which were dynamite.
We are so thoroughly impressed with this bed and breakfast, and will return and recommend to anyone!
