“Great lunch on a cold winter's day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We decided on a lighter lunch on a cold February Sunday before doing Biltmore House so ate at the Bistro rather than the Deer Park (where brunch is a $28.00 buffet). My friend ordered the Baked French Onion Soup with Gruyere and provolone and it was large and loaded with cheese--and delicious. I had the beef tip sandwich cooked in red wine and served with caramelized onion and provolone (exchanged for the Swiss that it came with) and fries. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and plentiful. One note--NC is a blue state so you can't get a glass of wine until after 12pm. Mine came as I was finishing my meal.

“Not sure what's wrong here”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

We have eaten dinner here twice recently. We have been disappointed both times. The bread and desserts are good. However, the appetizer and main courses have been greatly lacking. I'm not sure what is going on as we have previously enjoyed meals here very much.

“A great way to conclude your Biltmore visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Seated promptly at our reserved time. Attractive restaurant and a relaxing way to end our full day of touring at the Biltmore House and at the winery. The wine list is all Biltmore wines - not great, but pleasant wines. Nice menu, everything we had was delicious. Very good service. An excellent experience.

“Wonderful lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

The lobster roll was fabulous for lunch with a wonderful glass of sauvignon blanc. The outdoor seating was the perfect way to end a lovely day at the Biltmore. I will be back.
