I loved the location, the cleanliness, the size and convenience (full kitchen) of this chalet. There was a bag of cookies, stocked candy dishes, herbs in the kitchen, all great. However this being said, there was no internet connect what’s so ever I couldn’t find a modem to reset even though the chalet guide said there was one. The last night we were there the toilet stopped up and while we looked for a plunger there was no one to be found. When I called the owner she asked us if we had checked for said plunger if not she gave us a code to look in a storage room (down the road) for another plunge or she could move us (it was (9:30/10:00 pm) and our last night and we didn’t want to move, give us a code for another chalet for bathroom use (2:00 am looking for a bathroom in the dark no good), or we could just wait it out and she would send someone out in the morning. So we looked for the flashlight that is listed in chalet guide we found it but it had no batteries so it was useless. So we had to walk in the dark in an unknown area looking for a plunger. I do not know what the solution to this problem was I however I do not think we should had to walk in the dark to fix a broken bathroom; I was on vacation after all. I don’t know if I would stay here again or not I would double check when you get there to make sure all items are there before you settle in.
