“A must see!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

Definitely get the audio tour. It really helps put it all in perspective. Give yourself plenty of time. There is so much to see.

“Excellence in a period of Prosperity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

If you take a historical look at Biltmore, you must marvel at the ability of what was done. I have been many times and plan to go again this Christmas season. It is worth the time and expense, as it is a bit pricey now, to see this marvelous piece of architecture and history. Definitely take the behind the scenes tour. And don't forget to wear comfortable shoes. Any time of year is a great time to visit.

“A fun day, especially on a weekday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

Friday was a much better day to visit than Saturday, because of crowds. The house is magnificent, the audio tour is worth it and takes about 2 hours. Would be kind of boring for kids, but as a couple, we loved it! I wish so much that there were more benches around the estate for sitting and soaking in the beauty! So many times I wanted to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, but there wasn't anywhere to do so!

Very elegant dining room. The service was impeccable and food amazing and cutting edge. The views from the dining room are breathtaking looking over the Blue Ridge mountains. Great place for couples dining.

“A must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

This tour is what you would expect, but its much bigger than you would expect. Will definitely make you feel like an underachiever lol. It was a great tour, self guided and self paced if you prefer. Y have to do this at least once.
