Have to admit I have a soft spot for River Arts. It's a great part of Asheville. I felt very sad when TAP closed it's doors, and the now defunct cafe at Magnetic field was one of my favorite restaurants in Asheville. Boo Hoo. I say: Support river arts! It's a cool, up and coming artist driven adventure well worth exploring. Have a local brew at the Wedge, or eat at White Duck Taco, or Clingman cafe (still thriving) and of course there's nothing on earth like 12 bones. mmmm. Many studios to check out, it's a maze of creative endeavor, and it's more raw and real than downtown. Just sayin'
