“Very good value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

Rooms are clean and well priced. You're not close to many of the things you want to do in Asheville but otherwise it's a great place to stay. Good service. I've found Sleep Inn a reliable brand and this hotel keeps that up.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights and found it clean and reasonably priced. The room looked like the pictures on the site so no bait and switch. Breakfast had make your own waffles with toppings with other hot items-yum! My only concern is the room was a little small for our family of 4, but we weren't uncomfortable. The smell of cigarette smoke permeates the floor, but was not in our room.

Great place to stay, no disturbance. Friendly staff and great breakfast!!!!. Location was next to great food and attractions. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family when traveling to Asheville.

We stayed 3 nights and the room was clean and neat, staff very accommodating, breakfast had a pretty decent variety of choice, easy to find and would stay there again. Easy to get to almost any area of Asheville and surrounding towns. Very easy on and off of interstate.

Room Tip: ask for a quiet area

Actually that was about my only complaint about this place. Outside town, but we like that--easy town and interstate access. QUIET--no traffic noise. Ask for mountain view if possible, though other side probably a bit quieter (unless fire dept. called out) Usual breakfast, and two waffle irons. PRICE WAS RIGHT. Front desk lady was very good--in and out. Great shower. Go the extra distance downtown, as you will never see a town with this variety and number of cool resturants, not to mention microbrews/tap rooms, etc. I could eat here for the rest of my life.
However, at some point I would probably run into a hotel maid who would still be laughing...

Room Tip: Ask for one where the door closes FULLY every time (see review). Seriously, get a mountain view if...

Stayed here two nights recently and it covered every aspect that I could want when I travel. I don't need anything fancy, just a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, well maintained place to stay, and this Sleep Inn was all of that. I noticed that they were awarded a "Gold Award" from their company for excellent service and I can see why they won. It is not by any of the main tourist attractions in town but it is at the Eastern gateway to the Great Smokey Mtns.

We were passing through town and looking for someplace to spend the night. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. I wish I could remember her name... Valerie maybe?

We requested a non-pet friendly room. However, if you are traveling with animals this hotel does have three pet-friendly rooms available. Breakfast was good. My family loved it. This is a very basic hotel but it is clean, quiet, and a good value for the money. We will definately stay here again the next time we are in Asheville.
