If you are from any large city and have experienced real Italian food you would probably be sorely dissapointed. Although a good value for Homestead, we have been less than thrilled with every meal we have eaten there. The service is great (especially Fidel), but the soups seem to be right out of a can or can based. A large pizza has generous portions but the sauage is thin tasteless wafers and the pepperoni is about the same. They probably could put some sauce on the pizza also. We have not enjoyed the standard Italian fare, even spaghetti. I would bet at some point they had fantastic food but then went on a cost cutting binge and established portion and ingredient controls such that less and less was actually prepared from scratch. It is like a few other places in Homestead where the Garlic bread is awesome but the food is severely lacking.
