One of my orchids (blc gold digger) I purchased locally at a West coast show had the RF Orchid tag on it, so when I had the opportunity to visit Florida, I had to make a visit. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The front display spaces were full of blooming plants on sale, and there were three big greenhouses with young plants or plants not yet in bloom for sale. The facility was very well maintained and presented. There were even fresh orchids in the bathroom. The majority of the plants for sale were sub tropical (Van, Asc, etc.) - consistent with the growing conditions in Homestead. There are separate growing facilities not opened to the public, and I'm assuming that other varieties of plants may be rotated as the seasons change. The rest of the grounds had a nice shaded lawn area with a gazebo, and a large covered seating area. If you're interested in orchids at all, this is a must-visit location if you're ever in the area.
