“Best Course in Homestead”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Overall was a very nice course for the price. golf carts were awesome, quiet and plenty of room for balls, drinks and other items. Course plays rather easy if you can hit long and strait. We have always enjoyed playing here and the course is well maintained for a public course this far south in Florida. They have a restaurant to enjoy some conversation, have a cold one & some food after playing a round. You have to carry your bags from the parking lot to the cart area since carts aren't allowed in the parking lot.

The food is pretty good but the place needs to be modernized. It used to bw the place to go, now not so much. Chili is great. Bar is great.

“Monday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

I have been playing the Redlands off and on for several years and have found that it is probably the best Semi-Private course in the area. Mondays are very nice as this time of year you can play 18, with cart for $25.00 which is unheard of in this area. The course is in excellent condition and the carts are new electric that are very quiet. Nice lounge and the pro shop, although small, is well equiped and the staff is pleasent. Watch out for #2 and #18 as they border the driving range so if you're right you'll have a tough time fnding your ball. One of my favorite things about the course though is the fact that when you finish a hole you don't have to drive the cart 50 yards for the next tee, they're right there. Oh, and another thing, they actually have a bathroom on the course.

“A Fun Place to Play”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2010

If you want a casual good time playing golf , south of the 'city', this is the place to go. The fact that there is a public restaurant is not mentioned on their website. You can load up a cooler right there with soft drinks and beer for the course. And you can have a tasty American lunch, cold draft beer, and a full liquor bar is available. Many of the local businesspeople ( mostly agricultural) eat there for lunch so it can be very crowded at the lunch 'rush' so best to either go a bit early or a bit later. There is a pool but unsure of the rules regarding its' use by non-members. This is a semi-private course so anyone can play. Fees are reasonable. You might even get lucky and spot old 'One-Eye', a local gator who has evaded the 'authorities' for years. It is within the area that is referred to as the Redland Trail, so you can visit the local attractions, such as a winery, if the guys want to play golf and the girls don't, then meet for happy hour afterwards.
