The manager was unfriendly. If I pass through La Junta in the future, I will be sure to pay extra money to stay someplace where they are not as eager to hurl insults at me from across the desk. That's my main complaint.
Also, the room smells a bit like the surrounding effluent of the Arkansas River valley. I got used to it after a few hours. The sheets were washed with a really perfumey detergent that made my skin itch and as a result, I couldn't sleep. The microwave worked. The refrigerator worked. Both were clean.
