We used to go to The Greek Taverna quite regularly but then stopped going while our young son was in his "picky eating" stage. We went tonight after about 5 years and were horribly disappointed. We should have known that things hadnchanged as there was only one othermtable occupiedmat 7pm! The food quality and portion size have seriously diminished! It seems to be the same friendly couple who run the restaurant, but they (and the restaurant) seem tired. The only good thing about the dinner was the (free) olive/herb bread. My husband has a lamb special with orzo. The orzo was horribly overlooked and mushy, and the lamb lacked flavor. The fried zucchini appetizer came out as thick slices of zucchini when it should be thin slices. The spanakopita was mushy (not crisp phyllo as it should be) and were barely warm.
This place hasmoutlived it's useful life, so try something else!
