“Very nice B&B in Moab”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

We stayed here in May 2013 and had an enjoyable time. This property is very attractive and well maintained. The gardens are beautiful and you could spend all day relaxing there except that there is so much to do around Moab. Our room upstairs was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was generous and tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful but not overbearing. In the morning they have coffee and tea available in the common room and cookies and drinks in the afternoon. I don' t think you could find nicer accommodations in Moab.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking a moment to add a review. May is the perfect time to visit Moab. The gardens are usually at their best then, thanks to the milder weather as well as the efforts of our dedicated gardener, Connie. I'm so glad you enjoyed your room, the breakfasts, early morning coffee, and afternoon snacks.

This B & B was a wonderful place to stay - the rooms were spacious & clean and they served a delicious, hearty breakfast. It was close to many of the major National & State parks, so there was plenty to do in the area.

This is an excellent choice if you are visiting the Canyonlands. Our room (Summer House), was spotlessly clean, and there were many nice amenities. The family who owns this Inn, was SO nice! We stayed on Mother's Day, and my son had surprised me by arranging with the owners to have a dozen roses, a chocolate bar, and sparkling cider waiting for me when we checked in! Someone in the owner's family also went to the trouble of making me a beautiful Mother's Day card to go with it, too! The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices, and there were homemade cookies, M&Ms, and peanuts every afternoon to munch on. The owners also provided a washer, dryer, and detergent, free of charge, so we left with clean clothes for the rest of our trip. Needless to say, we loved our visit to Sunflower Hill--many thanks to Natalie and her parents for treating us so special.

Thank you for the wonderful review! It was a pleasure having you with us. So glad you had an enjoyable time here, and that we could help make your Mother's Day a special one (that was a very thoughtful gift from your son).

While not as artistic as some others in the family, I enjoy making people smile with my limited artistic ability (in the form of cards).

Thanks for choosing Sunflower Hill.

Wonderful stay at Sunflower Hill's luxurious inn ... we stayed 2 nights in early May and loved it! Lovely setting and décor with all the amenities and service you would expect. If you are looking to be pampered at the end of a long day ... this is the place for you.

Thank you Carole for taking the time to post a review. We are so pleased your stay was enjoyable and that you felt pampered in the French Bedroom (it is the perfect room for a little indulgence - kudos to the discerning eye that picked it out online). We hope all the pictures you gathered from your trek through the Utah and the southwest, bring back many happy memories for years to come.

Stayed at Sunflower for 4 nights. Spacious room, comfortable bed, and very clean. The breakfasts were a highlight with great variety of fruit, cereal and hot food. The Sunday waffles were a delight. I didn't use the pool or hot tub but they were used by others in the heat. We have stayed in quality B&Bs in the UK and Sunflower is better. Highly recommended.

The Sunflower Hill B&B is the Best ever! The accommodations are wonderful in a pleasant and peaceful setting. It is quiet, comfortable, and homey. The staff is attentive and accommodating without hovering. The breakfast was the best; choices included everything from scrambled eggs to yogurt with granola. They had snacks available at any time (for a small cost). It was a great home away from home. My husband and I would go back in a minute. We will stay there again on our next trip to Moab. This place is a must stay. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

Room Tip: We had the Garden room and it was just right.

Thank you TravlerMinn for staying with us and for taking the time to post a 'Perfect' review. We are so pleased you enjoyed the Garden Room, and the breakfast offerings each morning. The Honey Almond Granola is a family favorite we've been making since the inn opened in 1989 (we even give out our recipe to those who ask).

We look forward to seeing you again sometime.

Exquisite – Excellent personalized service; building and room décor; landscaping; guest offerings like the pool, hot tub, barbeque, refrigerator, etc.; breakfast choices and quality; and over-all experience. Due to their many years of service and listening to their guests’ suggestions, they provide unique offerings ranging from special food treats to thoughtful recognition of special occasions. Since each room is unique and special, call and introduce yourself to the inn keeper to help choose the best room for your stay.
