“Good location, hotel ok”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

This hotel is located really good, close to some fast food restaurants but also quite close to the Arches NP. The rooms are small, but clean. Same for the pool. Parking is for free of course, same for the coffee. The service is ok. Bathrooms small and a little old, but clean. The hotel, rooms and service is nothing special but for travellers, this hotel offers everything you need for a quite good price.

We chose this place after seeing great reviews in Tripadvisor. It was great, convenient location to Arches, restaurants and supermarket. Their breakfast is so much better than your typical budget motels and value is very competitive. Rooms are clean. We will stay here again when we come back to Moab.

A good value and I recommend the Inca Inn if you want an inexpensive room with modest furnishings. Carpets and bathrooms were very clean. Linens changed every 3 days. Satellite included HBO but TV's were older tube types. Refrigerator and small microwave. Functional, plain bed and furnishings. Small pool, no jacuzzi. Simple complimentary breakfast includes hard boiled eggs, instant oatmeal, toast, a few cereals, milk, OJ, & sliced oranges served 7a - 9a. Coffee all day. My biggest complaint were noisy A/C units which made for some difficulty sleeping and dropped my rating from 4 stars to 3. I finally resorted to earplugs. Service was warm and friendly.

We spent 6 nights and we were pleased with all aspects. As the title says, and more - good recycling facilities, plenty of ice, easy to find and close to all the places in town. When you're there to see the parks, you're not spending a lot of time in your room so you don't need a lot of luxury. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside in the chairs after a day of hiking.

I normally stay at brand-name hotel chains, but after getting sticker shock from researching Moab lodging choices, I ran across mention of the Inca Inn in Tripadvisor, and I can now reinforce what a lot of people are saying: a good, clean, well-run independent motel in a convenient location, reasonably priced when compared to area competitors. At the time I did the research, I believe AAA was giving this place one star, so I was a little concerned going in, but none of my concerns materialized. We stayed three nights, which enabled us to do Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse State Park (don't miss that one!), and Route 128. The highways are higher speed in the area, which also enabled us to get up early for the sunrises, stay late for the sunsets, and come back to the room for an afternoon nap(!) in between.

The Inca rooms are nothing fancy, but definitely clean and very acceptable. The only negative was that we could easily hear running water from the adjacent bathrooms, but almost all of the fellow travellers in the complex appeared to be older, turned in early, were European or all of the above & were considerate/quiet. Maybe just the way things materialized.

Because of the prices of the chains, we went the independent route on our trip, not only in Moab, but also in Torrey (Capitol Reef), Tropic (Bryce), and Springdale (Zion) and they all were great budget choices. Not for romantics, but for travellers on a budget who are looking for best value for what they're spending.

Conveniently located and easy to find. The room was pleasant and comfortable and equipped with everything - fridge, microwave, wifi, nice bathroom, new carpet. The continental breakfast was very good (included in the modest price). My only complaint is that they could do with a few more electric sockets - two in the bathroom isn't enough.

Room Tip: We were away from the road - very quiet, had a great night's sleep.

Friendly and helpfull staff. Clean, comfortable and good size room. Adequately equipped and good beds. Nice breakfast with juices, toast, hard boiled eggs, cereals and good coffee. Mexican restaurant on the premises. Plenty of parking space. Town center shops and restaurants at about fifteen minutes walk. Excellent value.
Wifi reliability should be improved.

Recommended without any hesitation!

Room Tip: We had a room in the back right hand corner, away from the traffic. Not really a place to sit outsid...
