First, I have to say what nice people there are at this restaurant. We had reservations for 7:30 but for various reasons did not arrive until an hour later. Even though booked up at that hour they still accommodated us right away (we kept them apprised of our delays). Service was both gracious and informative. As to the food, it leans toward Mexican fusion with spicings of abobo, cilantro and other traditional Mexican flavorings but with meats like bison, elk and a variety of fresh fish that has been flown in. There was a hamburger on the menu that looked great and a couple of other traditional entrees. I had rack of lamb one night and Bison the next. Both were prepared with inventive sauces and accompaniments.
Let's face it, Moab is a great place, but not a culinary haven. But if you are in the mood for something more gourmet and elegant, this is the place in Moab. Weather permitting, be sure to eat out on the back patio. Very romantic. Prices are commensurate for the food and fair in my estimation when comparing them to similar quality offerings elsewhere. But for Moab, this establishment is on the high side.
