“Pleasantly surprised”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Room was spacious with 2 good sized beds, fridge and microwave. Room and bathroom were spotless. Bed was comfortable and although hotel was busy there was no noise and therefore had a good night's sleep! First time staying in a La Quinta chain hotel but would do so again.

First things first, Moab is an expensive place to stay as such this is an expensive La Quinta.

The hotel is located towards one end of town so it can be a fair distance to some attractions.

The reception and housekeeping staff are all friendly and helpfull. We were upgraded on arrival and given the suite which is basically 2.5 standard rooms including 2 bathrooms and a seperat bedroom.

The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished with cable tv and free wifi.

The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet.

There is a guest laundry which is a bit costly at $2 per wash or dry but it was handy to have.

The comp breakfast was ok with plenty of choice.

I am a stickler when it comes to hotel cleanliness and La Quinta Inn Moab did not disappoint! There was one minor issue with the toilet handle that was addressed and fixed immediately by the front desk staff. My husband and I had originally planned to stay one night, but changed our minds and asked if there was any chance we could stay another night. We were more than happy to change rooms. We were offered a double queen room at the same rate or their best king suite which was quite a bit more. We opted for the double queen room and let the front desk know. We got a call shortly after to let us know that the management was upgrading us to the suite. That was a very nice surprise! The staff is great. Thank you all.

Even though the rates are up there in this town this time of year, we are very pleased with our 4 night stay at LaQuinta Moab. Our rates went from $169 - 138 plus taxes, AARP rates.
The room is large and modern looking. Plenty of room to put our stuff, flat screen, fridge & microwave and really comfortable bed! WiFi fast and flawless.
Sink is separate from shower and toilet, which I like. Lots of counter space. We unscrewed one of the light bulbs above the sink though, because they are the old-fashioned kind that get hot. They could use an upgrade there!
Shower is clean, spacious and has a nice, tall showerhead.
We brought a sound machine to help us sleep, and even with that on, we can occasionally hear people walking above us.
The breakfast is, as another reviewer stated, about as nice as you'll find in a hotel. It could be a bit better, in my opinion, by adding whole grain bagels and muffins and getting rid of some white flour options!
The Blu Pig BBQ restaurant, adjacent to the parking lot, is really good! You'll have to drive into "town", but not far. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for 3 nights while in town for the Moab Century Tour. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with 2 queen beds, refrigerator, microwave, desk, sofa, and room for 2 bicycles. Breakfast was included, and was adequate, serving eggs, bisquits, sausage, Belgian waffles, cereal, mini-muffins, juice, coffee, etc. The bed was very comfortable, and I had no trouble getting 7 hours of sleep the night before (and after) the 100 mile event. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the manager, Dawson Moddrelle, was especially cheerful and really seemed to enjoy his job!

This was our second trip to Moab and the spectacular National Parks in the area. Once again we ended up for three days at the La Quinta Inn. It's not the fanciest and it's certainly not the newest, but it again became our first choice based on proximity to the parks, price, and our prior experience with La Quinta inns.

The room was large, the beds comfortable, the breakfast adequate (try the Eklecticafe if you want fancier), and in general provided us with completely satisfactory service. We had no problems with noise as I noticed in another review. If you're going to Moab, this La Quinta is a good deal.

We arrived early to Moab, Utah and stayed here one night. We always stay at a local resort so needless to say, we were pleased with the price here. Rooms were clean. Showers were roomy. The only downfall was a loud motorcycle that kept pulling in and out of the gas station next door. We loved the location. We have thought about making this hotel our new place to stay in Moab.
