“Beautiful hotel and great service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2011

The La Quinta Inn in Moab, Utah is beautiful! The staff is as friendly as possible, the pool and hot tub are so nice, the fitness room is well-stocked, and the breakfast is loaded with great food.

Booked 2 rooms here for a family trip to Moab. I was quoted a total of $180.00 for both and got a confirmation showing a total of $180.00. When we checked in we were told each room was $180 per night. The front desk agent didn't give any explanation as to why the quotes were different, but she did suggest that for subsequent travels we should understand our rate before our arrival, then she went back to reading her book.

The rooms were very clean, the location is great, right in the center of town, the amenities were adequate, the included continental breakfast was disgusting. For the price of the rooms here, there are much better choices in Moab.

I apologize for the confusion of the confirmation letter you received. I am uncertain as to why your letter did not clearly state the total charge for your entire stay. Thank you for staying with us and I am sorry your stay did not meet your expectations.

The La Quinta Inn Moab provided an excellent stay for us while we toured the geological wonders of the area. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very large and impeccably clean. The hotel is dog friendly and was very accommodating for our two Yorkshire Terriers. It is a bit of a walk to town (about 15 minutes), but parking downtown was no problem.

The Arches National Park is about two miles from the hotel and is a must-see. Dead Horse Point State Park, about a thirty minute drive, was also of great interest and beauty to us. In addition, we enjoyed several of the scenic byways in the area, especially the Upper Colorado River Scenic Byway on Hwy 128.

We only wish we had planned more time in Moab, especially to explore the Canyonlands National Park. We hope to return in the near future and would definitely stay at La Quinta.

Our room was clean and quiet, we stayed at the end of the hotel away from the highway. The hotel staff were helpful when we needed more towels. The breakfast was fine except the powdered scrambled eggs. The refrigerator in the room was larger than many room refrigerators and kept our food cold, and the microwave worked well.

Good size rooms and friendly staff. Pool is a bit small and almost standing room only with about 30 people cooling off on a 97 degree day. Has a walking path behind the motel that runs up thru town if one wants to stay off the main highway. All in all, a good, reasonably priced motel.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2011 via mobile

Spent 3 night in La Quinta Inn in Moab in the second week of august 2011. Had a nice stay. Very big rooms, with a lot of space, big sofa, flat screen TV, great king size bed (in my room) with a lot of pillows! The fee includes breakfast, which is rich enough to satisfy different tastes. The breakfast personnel was very active and present, just in case you need something (when they weren't replacing food).
Just one bad thing, the ceilings are very thin, so, if you're upstairs neighbors are too noisy, it may be a problem.
