We stayed here two nights in May 2008.

The rooms are spacious and clean and have a little kitchen should you want to cook food in the your room, however, there were no plates etc.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Moab and we needed to drive into the town centre for dinner. We recommend the Moab Brewery Restaurant for dinner.

The included breakfast was not as good as were expecting. The eating area was way too small and we had to wait one morning for a table to come free before we could sit down.

When we left the hotel on our final morning we were horrified to find a little mouse squashed and cut in half in the exit door!

If we return to Moab again I would probably try and find a hotel located more centrally in the town.

“Better than your average Holiday Inn Express”

We loved our stay here. The view is nice and the weather was nice and the window opened all the way and we enjoyed fresh air instead of air conditioning. The beds were very comfy. The room was very clean. Moab is a nice little town. There is so much to see at Arches. Drive Route 12 through Capitol Reef Park. It is so beautiful and Arches was awesome, but that drive is truly spectacular. We want to return someday and we will definitely stay at this property again.

Some of the comfiest beds I've ever slept on at a hotel. We were in a 2 queen bed, 1 queen sofa-bed "suite" with more than enough room for my family of 5. There was this little half wall about 3 foot square separating living area w/sofabed from bedroom, so the word "suite" is a stretch. Still, a very nice room with a nice view of cliffs. The free included breakfast buffet was very good as well - well stocked, had a different egg/meat course each of the two days we were there, waffles, fresh cina-buns, etc. A little small eating area for the size of the hotel, but we had no problem getting a table, even during jeep safari week. A nice touch was a locked bike room if needed. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed, but this was Jeep Week, and it is a bit crazy in town. Housecleaning was excellent.

Indoor pool was also well appreciated by my 8 year old, although a bit small. Weirdly, the water had a very strong bitter, but no smell so maybe the chemicals used? Jacuzzi didn't work, tho.

Unlike others, I had no problem with the wireless internet connectivity while I was there. I take two laptops (one for the adults, 1 for the teens), but no problem with either, at least on the second floor near the middle of the hotel - maybe the outlying rooms were worse?

Note that is was a bit out on the outskirts of Moab if you want to be in the middle of town. However, the town is only about a mile long, so you are not really far. Really beautiful area, and nearer the trails and NPs, so I was very happy with placement. Can walk to the Coorado river.

Highly recommended, and would stay again.

If you want to lose money stay at this hotel. I booked this hotel for March 8th for the Moab Race but canceled because they did not have a room for us to stay the next day.
When I got home from the race I noticed they charged me $160.00. I figured it was a small mistake and called to get the charge taken off of my card but the refused. They said it was not possible because I did not have the cancelation number.
Dont ya think they would be able to find that?
I will never stay with them again. They were very unprofessional and did not take care of their customer

“Good Value and Nice Stay”

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Moab

We stayed at this Holiday Inn for almost a week at the first of Oct. As one recent reviewer stated, the wireless internet connections were a bit spotty, but hey, we were on vacation so checking work and personal email was just not a big priority. Get over it.

The hotel is new, very clean, and breakfast was better than most. Breakfast items were replenished frequently, and the only down-side we observed was not enough seating for the size of the property. There was a huge bike crowd in town over the weekend, and there was still friendly service encountered during our stay. It is not in the middle of town, but for us that is a plus as it was very quiet.

The only major downside for us was the lack of fitness equipment. I'm probably used to larger hotels in larger cities, but not having a workout facility available, or an agreement with a local gym for access, is a downside for us. However, this hotel is probably not unique in the Moab area in this regard.

We would definitely stay here again.
