“A great B&B, quiet and friendly.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2008

This B&B is wonderful, in a quiet location, within walking distance of the main strip. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and attractively decorated. The breakfasts were really fabulous. My only criticism of the room was that it was hot and a tad stuffy (we were upstairs). Would definitely go there again, however.

This year is our 5th year that we've stayed at Cali Cochita to run the Moab 1/2 marathon. David & Kim are the ultimate hosts and even accomodate us crazy runners with a special race day b-fast menu. We have already booked next years rooms and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Being off of the main street a couple of blocks gives Cali Cochita a quiet setting where you can enjoy the hottub and the accompanying stars without traffic noise. The food has been wonderful and plentiful. This is the best place to stay in Moab regardless of pricing.

We stayed in the Cane "House holder" room and was most happy. The room has a private bathroom and a sumptuous feel to it. The pricing can be a little high for the room & breakfast but as we came from the UK the USD/GBP conversion was to our favour at the time. We also were traveling extensively so wished to have a good place to stay and relax before moving on and this was the perfect choice (thanks to research on trip advisor from other great reviews). The owners David & Kim are the perfect hosts and make you feel at home with ease. We were very spoilt at breakfast (held around a very large family type table) with home cooked food and a selection of fruits etc to set you up for the day. The B&B is off the main road so nice and quiet in the evening. I noticed that most of the hotels listed in Moab are on the main road and this can get quite busy so would expect some noise interference staying at these.
This is close to the Arches Nat'l Park (approx 10 min drive).
I would also recommend the Buck's Grill House on the main road heading out of town towards the Arches - they serve the best Buffalo Burger ever! and the service is very quick and well priced (even with a power cut that lasted about 10 mins!)
I will return to the Arches (so much to see) and will without doubt stay here again.

We stayed in the Willow Cottage for three nights. First, let me say that the Cottage is not a standalone building as you might think. That said, it's a nicely decorated room that is a little tight with a comfortable bed, large dresser, table with two rocking chairs and a private bath. The bath has a large pedestal sink and decent sized stall shower. I don't know why there seems to be so much variation in the way showerheads work and I had a little trouble with this one at first but figured it out after some trial and error. The window looks out onto a passageway between buildings and the french doors which are the entrance to the room look out onto the parking spot. We pretty much kept the blinds closed the whole time. The room stayed quite cool which I imagine would be very nice in the heat of summer. There is a a/c unit in the wall. The grounds of the property are quite well maintained and the breakfast room was very charming. Breakfasts were elegantly presented and very tasty. The owners are friendly, down to earth folks who really know how to cook. The location is very convenient to downtown Moab. All in all, a very comfortable base to explore Moab from.

We have taken numerous trips with our friends over the past ten years and this is our favorite B&B. We just completed our fifth stay at the Cali Cochitta and loved every minute of it! Our hosts Kim and Dave feel more like family with every visit. Dave's breakfasts are truly superb; combined with the congenial atmosphere of discussing travel acitivies with the other guests, they make for experiences to savor. When the weather is warm, breakfast is served at a huge table on the back patio, just a perfect start to a day of hiking in the beautiful Moab area!

This place is a gem! It is a very quant little B&B just outside of town with only a few rooms. It was our first stay in a B&B and I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the Cali Cochita. Dave and Kim were great host! The best part had to the breakfast... to die for! Both Dave and Kim have experience in the food industry and boy does it show! Would stay here again!

Look no further than this beautiful B&B for your stay in Moab. Price is very reasonable, accommodations are wonderful and the gourmet breakfast is very satisfying. Will definitely stay here again.
