We've stayed here several times before, and keep coming back because it's very clean, affordable, has ice machine, coffee pot, microwave, and fridge.
However, this winter the owner left it in the care of others for a short time. It was a totally different experience. I won't stay there again if the owner's not there. The room was dirty, with hair in the bathroom from the last person who had the room. The coffee pot looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month, and many surfaces hadn't been cleaned. The ashtray outside was overflowing.
The worst part was, about an hour after we checked in, we heard a key trying to open our door. They had given our room out to someone else, and he had the key to open our door!! I guess someone didn't record that the room was taken. Pretty scary that someone has access to my room and stuff!
I would still recommend it, but not if the owner's not there.
