“Great side hike with no charge!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Corona Arch is a great little side hike on BLM land. It's a nice excursion if you're in Moab and want to get out and do something cool, for free. The Arch itself is almost as spectacular as Delicate Arch in Arches NP. Corona Arch doesn't has as neat lighting as Delicate Arch, but again, it's still impressive. One thing to be aware of - this may not be for you if you're afraid of heights! Part of the hike involves hiking around some steep slickrock - which could be a little disconcerting to some people.

“easy hike to a beautiful arch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

this is a nice hike (about 3 miles total) to this great arch where you will see some people swinging from (you can try it as well if you want...)

“Great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

When you're the only one on the parking-lot, and crossing the railroad, thinking you're going the wrong way... Following the 'cairns', 40 degrees celcius.... It became our favourite hike!! The funniest part was the ladder! Unfortunately we didn't find any jumpers at the arch...although my son saw the climber's hooks and rings through his binoculars, attached to the arch...
It's considered a 'strenuous' hike, but finally it's very funny and not that hard!

“Arches”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

Didn't have to pay any entrance fees. It was nearby Arches National Park and was located down potash road. Was a fairly short hike and was pretty neat. We hung out and absorbed the scenery from underneath the arch. I would go back.

“Get past the barbed wire and railroad tracks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

The trailhead for this hike is reminiscent of a North africa war movie. But once you make it to the slick rock, it is beautiful short hike. The cables and ladder make it seem more hazardous than it is. There were climbers rappelling down the ~ 140 ft opening that afternoon. We were told that someone once flew an airplane through the arch. Glad we went.
