“Put this trail on your must do list”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

SlickRock Trail is the ultimate test of your mountain biking skills. Marked by white painted dashes on the sandstone the trail weaves in and around some of the roughest terrain you will ever ride and will keep you on your toes every mile of the trek. Winding from the parking lot the trail takes a few miles to make its way out to the main loop where you can ride either left, the 'easy way' or right, the 'hard way' making in total about a 13 mile ride in as little as 2 hours or an all day journey if you take your time and take in the scenery which never stops! Bring more water than you think you will need, tools, repair items and a first aid kit because you will probably use it all.

“It's like being on the moon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Okay, I've never been to the moon, but you definitely feel like you're on a foreign planet. We had someone with us who had a recent back injury, so we hiked rather than biked and it was awesome. The advantage of hiking is that you can venture to places you'd never go on a bike. Since it was March, there weren't any crowds and since we could hike off the beaten path, we didn't see other visitors for long stretches of time. Just go!

“As much fun to see, as to ride.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

NOT FOR SISSIES!!! There are two routes, one is tough and the other is just kinda tough. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! There are many great Bike Shops with all the info required for a safe fun outing.

“Wicked”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The trail is definitely not recommended for beginners. There are multiple areas you can ride to begin. This trail has some pretty cool slickrock ups and downs. Overall a great trail but better ones out there.

“Perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

I've been to Moab many times, but it never occurred to me to hike this trail on foot. It's simply amazing. Best done in winter, of course, when you won't get in the way of cyclists.
