The food here was great. The meat was very fresh and flavorful and the service was awesome! I would definitely reccomend this place for good barbecue after a long hike :)

“Worth a short wait”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

Moab was very crowded when we were there so there was a short wait. It was worth it, as the food was great - genuine BBQ with choice of sauces. My husband had Briske and Andoille Sausage with Gumbo to start. YUM. Being in Utah, you have to ask if you want a drink (the wait staff can't offer), but was able to get a bottle of wine and take the rest back to the hotel. Live Blues was being performed in the room. Very comfy place. Service was great. Preferred it to the Moab Brewery.

“Good Food But There are Better Choices in Moab”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

Although the restaurant wasn't very busy, the service was none existent. Food (baby back ribs, texas brisket sandwich) was good and portions generous, but the whole evening was spoiled by the lack of service. Server had to be reminded to bring or refresh drinks, other tables seated after us were served their food long before we had ours delivered, our used dishes were not cleared, and we had to search for our server to get the bill. Probably will skip this restaurant in the future.

“Good BBQ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

I really enjoyed the St.Louis ribs here. They were fall off the bone tender and the sauce was sweet and tangy. My wife had the pulled pork, which she enjoyed as well. I'd probably order something other than the baked beans for a side; my wife had the gumbo which she thought was too spicy. The price was comparable to many other BBQ joints. The place was clean and well maintained. The food came very quickly.

They had live music, but since we had an early dinner, they were only starting it when we were leaving.

My wife thought the servers were trying to "up sell" a little too much.

“BBq and Blues!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

The food was good and it just tastes better with the blues/jazz playing throughout the restaurant! I've eaten here a few times and it's a welcome change from the Moab Brewery.
