“They put us in the room next to laundry room, which was used till midnight”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2010

The hotel is new and very clean. Great lobby and great room. But ... I would not return anymore : We booked months in advance and they didn't arrange 2 rooms close to each other and our room was just next to the laundry room => Noise till midnight.

Breakfast was ok and location is good (same main street as all other hotels/motels). Even if it was out of the season a lot of the hotels/motels in the area had no vacancy anymore. Moab/Arches national park seems to be very attractive and mainly for mountainbike fans.

There is a swimming pool and separate hot tub. It was not warm enough to use the swimming pool and the hot tub was fully busy from 7PM till 10 PM.

Our room was fine, top floor overlooking the pool but we did get some noise from the street and the jeep tour business next door. We had asked for a frig but when we arrived a bicycle group had checked in earlier and taken them all. They sent up a stryfoam cooler filled with ice and took our ice pack and put it in the office freezer so we could use it during our day trips. Breakfast good, set up kind of strange for a leisure location. Large table with bar stools and plug-ins for computers that ran the length of the room, more for a business location. Would recommend but would probably stay out of the downtown area if we visit again.

This was our first visit to Moab and we picked the Hampton Inn because of it's good reviews on Trip Advisor. It certainly lived up to expectations. The room was well decorated with an extremely comfortable kingsize bed. It was clear the building was fairly new - everything was tastefully decorated in a modern style. The staff were always very helpful, the business centre was useful for printing and general web browsing, and the wi-fi was quick and hassle-free.

We particularly enjoyed the simple but tasty complimentary breakfasts - if only more hotels would provide waffle irons at their food counters! The availability of packed breakfasts for travellers in a hurry was also a thoughtful touch.

The location was a little more than walking distance from the town centre, but as Moab is so small anyway, we found it easy to drive and park close to the shops and restaurants we visited. It's on the north side of town, so that bit closer to Arches National Park.

If I had to find fault anywhere, it would have been with our allocation of a ground floor rear room - no view and fairly dark. We could have changed, I'm sure, but it wasn't that much of an issue. The fact that we had a door leading to the next room meant noise levels were higher, particularly the screaming baby that woke us at 4am on our last morning! One last thing - more TV channels would have been much appreciated - but we weren't there to watch TV, so again no real complaint.

Overall, highly recommended!

Loved the hotel and it's location. You could walk into town no problem. The rooms were nice although we wanted connecting rooms we didn't get them. The breakfast was very nice and fresh. The pool was delightful, except they were working on it for 2 days of our 4 day stay. I would only stay at this hotel when going back to Moab.

Excellent Hampton. Good value for money. Clean rooms, good beds.
Climate control system worked fine. Breakfast adequate (eat out if you
want a real breakfast). Good location. Our room faced the main street,
but was well soundproofed.

We stayed in Moab to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. He wanted to mountain bike the Slickrock Trail. We reserved 4 rooms. Our room was a suite, and it was very spacious. The other rooms were with 2 queens and were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and a little more extensive than just a stale danish and coffee. The kids loved the HEATED pool (the outside temp was just in the 70's). Everyone one we encountered at the hotel went out of their way to make sure our stay was going well. All 14 people in our group loved this place.

We stayed for two days. Hotel was good. Breakfast was nice. Our room also had temperature control problems like one of the other reviewers reports. Luckily, temperatures outside were moderate and we weren't that uncomfortable. I would have liked to see a refrigerator in the room.
